    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we’re always happy to welcome our collectors to our London headquarters and meet with you in person.

As our team can have busy schedules, an appointment may be required to ensure someone is available to meet with you. We recommend contacting us in advance to arrange a convenient time.

Yes. Collectors can arrange to view their cask at the distillery or bonded warehouse, subject to the relevant facility’s access arrangements.

We aim to arrange quarterly client visits to our bonded warehouse facilities, giving collectors the chance to see their cask and learn more about the maturation process.

Please note that access to some storage facilities may be restricted for operational, security or regulatory reasons.

Yes, Malca-Amit operates from office space within the same secure building as our storage partner, The Balthorne Group. Client meetings are held within these offices to ensure absolute discretion and security when viewing diamonds held in storage.

Yes, Malca-Amit’s dedicated fine art studios provide professional viewing facilities for collectors, clients and prospective buyers. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and designed to replicate a gallery environment, these spaces offer an ideal setting for private viewings, artwork presentations and detailed condition assessments, or they can arrange delivery and installation to the address provided.

No. As with any asset, returns cannot be guaranteed, and past performance should not be considered an indication of future results.

The value of art, whisky and gemstones can rise or fall over time, and any potential return will depend on factors including the individual asset, time of hold, the market , wider market conditions and the timing of any future sale.

In the unlikely event that Unique Asset Acquisitions is taken over, ceases trading, or becomes insolvent, the key point is simple: you own your assets outright.

Unique Asset Acquisitions has no ownership or control over your assets. Your assets are held separately and are not part of our company balance sheet. They are not company assets and therefore cannot be sold by us to satisfy the claims of receivers, creditors, or other third parties.

    Whisky Casks

Your whisky casks are held in your name at our HMRC-bonded warehouse, Royal Elizabeth Bond. You have sole access to your account, supported by a delivery note confirming your order and online access to your account and holdings.

    Diamonds and Gemstones

Your diamonds and gemstones are securely held in a vault at Balthorne Group. The vault holding is registered in your name, giving you direct access to your assets.  Clients are welcome to arrange appointments to inspect and take possession of their diamonds at any time.

    Artwork

Artwork purchased through Unique Asset Acquisitions is either delivered directly to your specified address or securely held with Malca-Amit in an account in your name.  Clients are welcome to arrange appointments to inspect and take possession of their artworks at any time.

    Your Assets Remain Yours

The important distinction is that your assets do not sit on Unique Asset Acquisitions’ balance sheet and they are not owned by Unique Asset Acquisitions.

Therefore, in the unlikely event that Unique Asset Acquisitions were to collapse or become insolvent, your whisky casks, diamonds, gemstones, and artwork would remain your property. They would not form part of the company’s assets available to satisfy the claims of creditors or receivers.

In short: you own the asset, not Unique Asset Acquisitions. Your ownership remains separate from the financial position of the company.
